About the Australian Flying Corps Website

This website is a non commercial archive of all information to do with the Australian Flying Corps service in World War I. The site includes information on the Australian pilots of the Australian Imperial Force who volunteered for the Royal Flying Corps in 1916, as well as Australian aviators who volunteered or enlisted directly with the British Air Services in World War I, such as the Royal Flying Corps, the Royal Naval Air Service and the Royal Air Force. This site also includes information on the New Zealanders who served in the Australian Flying Corps and British Air Services.

In all cases and for all topics on this website, accuracy of information is a priority. Unfortunately due to lack of references, or information in references being outdated, this becomes an ideal in some cases and some areas. If you spot any errors, or any pieces of information with questionable accuracy, please contact me at the Australian Flying Corps Website.
