History of the Queensland Volunteer Flying Civilians : The Queensland Volunteer Flying Civilians was formed from the initiative and vision of two men, Major T. McLeod and Lieutenant V. Rendle along with 550 pounds from the The Courier Aeroplane Fund. The School trained seven pilots which all travelled to London and the cadets all joined the Royal Flying Corps and later served with the Royal Flying Corps on the Western Front. Read more ...
