There is a simple word to describe the coerced state removal of children from their parents based on the skin colour of the child. That word is tyranny.

    "Racism" is another.

    The attempt to make racism invisible in Australian history is amazing to me given that it was always so boldly transparent and upfront in practice.

      Tyranny is the root cause. If you allow tyranny then you enable all manner of negative 'isms'.

    Wonderfully succinct Cam. You should have sent Dr. Nelson an email with this a bit earlier in the week - it would certainly seem that he is so politically malleable that it could have found its way into his speech.
