    A bit junk for code-y, but Gary Sauer-Thompson contends that republicanism cannot be defined without public spaces, and the interactions individuals as free people undergo in those spaces, being understood. So I will probably explore that more in the future on SSR.

      The first entry in Alexander's Design Pattern's is "Autonomous Regions". The polity is interweaved with the polis, it's all good.
