Information Technology Portfolio: I\'d like to see the Democrats stick with the government use of open source software policy. Partially for religious purposes, primarily because I don\'t believe government data should be kept into proprietry data formats, and I don\'t like the idea of the very very large public service infrastructure being vulnerable to the next Sasser.
Telstra: A bit tangential, I suppose, but I\'d like to see Telstra split into two as well. Government keeps the infrastructure - the Australian people paid for it after all - and sell off the services section. Only problem is that the government retaining the infrastructure would send the shares of Telstra into a tail spin and a lot of ordinary Australians bought a lot of those shares.
