Also on the young: I recall hearing someone call the change in policy with retirement, education, etc being the baby-boomers pulling the ladder up after them. Howard has greyed with the electorate too. I dont want to seem to be baby-boomer bashing, but I do believe from my observations, experiences, stereotypes etc that there is a large world-view difference between the baby-boomers and young (sub-40).
Unfortunatelzy it is youths future that is being greyed along with the population, polity and politicians.
